Aliaga State Hospital
Aliaga State Hospital was planned in the 1980s, and its current location was approved as a zoning plan in 1986. The hospital has a capacity of 89 beds. its licensed construction was started on 04.02.1994, and its rough construction was completed in 2003. in 2003, an allowance of TRY 1.5 million was issued and completed by the initiatives of the Izmir Governorship.
Emir Osman Bulgurlu for which the hospital's internal hardware and Aliaga in December 2003, Governor, mayor Süleyman Akbiyikoglu, president of the Chamber of Commerce Adnan Joke, the chairman of the Health Group, Dr. Ahmet Yaşar Özden Mustafa Selek founder and chief physician of the hospital, a team of one of the establishments and industrial Aliaga has started to work on the internal hardware support for the hospital. At the end of these studies, as a result of the dedicated support of people and institutions in Aliaga, donations amounting to YTL 1 million were collected to the hospital and the internal equipment of the hospital was completed. The hospital started accepting patients on April 15, 2004.
Aliaga State Hospital, which serves many districts and towns such as Aliaga, Dikili, Bergama, Foca, Çandarlı, has a total closed area of 6,723 m2, including 2,300 m2 on the ground on an area of 13 thousand m2. The hospital, with 50 staff beds, has been merged with Aliağa Petkim State Hospital with the approval of the Ministry of Health dated 04.10.2005 and continues to serve as Izmir Aliağa State Hospital with the approval of 04.10.2005.
Since it is envisaged that the Octoberaga Organized Industrial Zone will be put into service at full capacity and the population of the district will increase with the provision of Izmir-Aliaga Metro-Standard rail transportation, it is planned to build a 100-bed annex to the hospital and expand the existing Prefabricated Outpatient Clinic building.
